After a slight technical hitch where Nellie showed her experience by having a duplicate system ready we got into the opening. We looked a t a slide which told us that learning could be a pain or a pleasure - it depends on us as students or us as teachers. Again she highlighted this by turning some participants audio pain into audio pleasure.
We saw that learning is change and several people put comments about what learning means to them.
Following on Nellie gave a screen share where she showed us an introductory video about the mmooc site and the features and then she talked about the paperwork on google docs - for some reason I could not open the relevant doc but I had quickly looked through it before so it made some sense to me.
It was finished off with a reminder to saty tuned for the next webinar in 1 hour with Curt Bonk!

ReplyDeleteSusan, it really only took 2-3 minutes and it was all free on blogger. All you need is a google account. I can help you if you want but it really is easy and there are videos on youtube as well if you search. If you want to look at some different styles that I have used here are my other blogs.

As you can see I don't use them a lot - they were both set up for my benefit although some teachers I have worked with in the past visit from time to time.
